HCMC'S
FOREIGN NURSE & NURSE EDUCATOR
RECRUITMENT PROGRAM
|
HCMC has
partnered with an overseas client, which is a professional recruitment
firm specializing in recruiting healthcare personnel --- RNs and MSN Educators --- in Asia. Our partner specializes in teaching English to foreign candidates.
Our partner identifies and recruit qualified candidates, screen them
carefully, monitor their successful passage of qualifying exams,
and prepare them for relocating to the United States. Each of the
BSN candidates recruited will have a high-level of English language
proficiency. Most of the candidates (95%) are female and have work experience in overseas healthcare facilities.
HCMC's role is to identify high quality patient care facilities
and organizations in the United States for prospective placement
and to coordinate the recruitment process from the point of contract
with HCMC to the arrival of staff at their hiring sponsors. We
do not hire or place individual foreign nationals in healthcare
facilities in the United States. Individual applicants should contact
U.S. healthcare facilities directly to inquire about employment
and sponsorship.
Sponsoring employer/clients would have the opportunity to interview
candidates via video teleconference or by other means (a visit overseas if practical), provide HCMC and its client with application
materials for remittance to foreign candidates, review the results
of our client's stringent screening and background check procedures,
sponsor them under U.S. immigration programs and policies, hire them at salaries comparable to American nurses and educators,
and help them to acclimate to their new communities i.e., housing,
cultural life, transportation options, etc. An immigration law firm will handle all compliance processing work.
We believe that this service will help you to fill your patient
care vacancies with eager, enthusiastic, and loyal personnel,
who would be assets to your organization.
The Benefits and Value of retaining HCMC to recruit
nurses through our overseas client include:
- All recruitment, screening, background, reference,
and other time-consuming pre-qualification requisites are done
by our client. CGFNS results and other information will be provided
to you. Our clients will have an opportunity to interview
several candidates through a personal visit to our overseas client's
office or through video teleconferences.
Many of the candidates recruited have practical
work experience in one or more medical specialties, thereby
reducing your staff's training time investments.
-
- All nurses would be hired at salary and benefits
consistent with American nurses' compensation schedules.
- Foreign staff recruitment requires long-term
planning, patience, an initial investment of 12-14 months lead
time, and money to be successful. Your organization would reduce the need for
temporary or pool nurses and save thousands of dollars annually
in excessive contract fees and overtime costs, and reduce your
current staff's burn-out and fatigue.
-
- As new English-speaking immigrants to the United
States, nurses that are invited to become your employees are more
highly motivated to do well and succeed in their new positions. HCMC will replace
any nurse or nurse educator, who for any reason, does not complete at least one
year's employment with your organization successfully. HCMC supports efforts to expand the domestic supply of RNs and nursing school educators, but recognizes that patients and their safety cannot await the long-term solution to this critical national challenge.
